Crossing the Chinese border sounds hard, isn’t it?
Well it’s an easy thing to do! We did it, apply for our visa in Hong Kong, take the subway to the Chinese border, cross it and take another subway, this time on the Chinese side into town… Many warned us that the control is severe, the border should be closed at certain times,… Well we didn’t see anything of it.
We crossed the Chinese border at 11pm in just 15’… We’re in Shenzhen, in the Guangdong province.

Welkom in Hong Kong!
Bart verbaast zich over de grote luchthaven…meer dan 22 bagagebanden! Dat wil wel wat zeggen. Buiten de luchthaven nemen we bus 10A tot in Aberdeen, in het zuiden van Hong Kong. Onmiddellijk merken we de vele eilandjes en het heuvelachtige terrein. Bij de bushalte worden we opgewacht door Kenneth, onze couch.

After a couple of relaxing Balinese days, we leave the island and get back to the mainland… Our destination: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
We arrive during the Hari Raya (end of Ramadan) festivities in town, so probably lots will be closed. However, we don’t feel much about it during our two day stay…
