Sacred San Agustin

The area around San Agustin is well known for the many historic sites around. They go back as early as 2000 BC, making them one of the oldest sites here in South America. The current theory states it are ancient burial sites, but no bones were ever found in the area.

Viva Colombia

In Pereira we just want to visit the thermas de Santa Rosa and then pick the bus to Popayan.

Along the railroad we drive in a straight line and see the vegetation change gradually… From trees and green, to cactus and low shrub in the sand. At the same time the temperature rises and the humidity drops. We know it for sure, we’re in the desert along the Caribbean Coast.
