Sacred San Agustin

The area around San Agustin is well known for the many historic sites around. They go back as early as 2000 BC, making them one of the oldest sites here in South America. The current theory states it are ancient burial sites, but no bones were ever found in the area.
According to me these spots were religious centres, were sacred initiations were performed.

Viva Colombia

In Pereira we just want to visit the thermas de Santa Rosa and then pick the bus to Popayan.
When we arrive in Pereira, we drop our luggage in the Kolibri Hostel and take a bus to Santa Rosa… We arrive there too late – since the bus stopped at nearly every door – and the last bus to the termas is gone. Disappointed we return to Pereira and decide to extend our stay here one day. The location feels really nice.

Een blij weerzien…na 6 jaar. We ontmoeten elkaar terug als volwassen vrouwen en mijn vriendin Carol is ondertussen een kersverse mama!!! We doen samen de was en de plas en kletsen de vervlogen jaren aan elkaar. De mannen laten we even terzijde…en daar geven ze niet veel om…
