Beijing Hot (S)Pot

Finally… After one year intensive training, the Zhen Wu Camp in Beijing arrives. Our flight leaves on one of the busiest days at Brussels Airport, but we don’t see anything of that. Everything goes smooth and after a 10h direct flight we arrive in Beijing airport. Approval goes quick.

The Great Wall

The most famous element around Beijing stays the Great Wall… The trip to
there (some 80 km’s out of town) we spent with Pablo – our couch from
Shanghai, Miguel and Valeria (a couple Pablo also invited) to explore that
location. We made a very steep climb up to the Mutianjou restored section.
After two hours intensive climbing we got on the wall (since we missed the
right road to get up, normally it takes only some 45′).

Imperial Beijing

Beste tochtgenoten,

Jullie gaan wat meer Engels te lezen krijgen daar ik me nu wat meer
concentreer op het uitzoeken van de reisroute en het selecteren van de
foto’s. Onze blog is tot onze grote spijt gecensureerd op het Chinese
grondgebied. Daardoor duurt het soms wat langer vooraleer we nieuws naar
het thuisfront kunnen sturen. Maar er bestaan altijd omwegen. We sturen de
teksten en beelden door naar een vriend van Bart die ze op zijn beurt op
onze blog plaatst. Dus even geduld…net zoals wij hier in de Chinese
